However, since I also have 2-step verification on my Origin account I suppose that this was causing a bit of problem for the game. I have an EA / Origin account, so I entered that. If you do not have such a window when in Steam overlay there is a button to activate this window. So I pressed ALT-TAB and clicked on the "copy to clipboard" in the CD key window. By now I was sort of in-game so how do you get the CD key? Well, the "nag" screen/window with this key was still at the bottom right of my screen. So I decided to continue and got the option to enter a CD key.
